Many of us Melbournians see life through AFL coloured eyes...so it is with out doubt that the recent ruckus about the "Joffa/Chopper" pic is causing a stink in the public domain.
From what I see of Joffa, he is a poor sole that has not much in his skull other than a few magpie droppings, the picture clearly shows that. This story should have taken a small write up and that be it. However there is nothing more important in Melbourne than footy and it associated issues. Funny how it rated as a main story whilst people were being shot in India and our travellers were at risk of disaster in Thailand!
In my humble opinion, Collingwood need a makeover and were right in dropping him and his rancid cohorts from their 2009 promotional campaign, and so they should. I wonder if they will keep him from the front line of their scabby cheer squad in 2009?
As for both ways Eddie, what a fool the guy is and it seems that he too has been cursed with the Collingwood curse, in that he now struggles to reach the heights he was once at. No-one in their right mind, especially those of the calibre of Eddie, would support a person that poses with rifles in this era.
Has somebody investigated whether those rifles were loaded and legally held I wonder?
Since the Henson media issue, as a father, I am ashamed to call my self Australian after the furour surrounding this idiot and how the public ended up supporting the creep is beyond my thinking. The media were right in exposing his true nature and he should have been locked away for a long time for even trying to justify his liking for minors..but in the case of Joffa AKA Chopper, I don't think it was of the same worthyness of publicity as was the focus on filthy Henson. The world is not a safe place with scum pretending to be elite artists lurking in the shadows.
